Ever hear the biblical teaching “Evil companions corrupt good morals”?

Pick your friends wisely. This advice is not just in reference to that proverb. While it is true that hanging around the wrong crowd can get someone in trouble, if you surround yourself with negative, cynical people, it will taint your attitude.

The old saying, “misery loves company”, is true. If you watch, look, and listen, you will find that there are little groups of people that sit and spew negativity all day long. You find it in the workplace, in coffee-houses, in lodge halls, virtually anywhere people gather, there will be some little groups of complainers always poisoning themselves with those sorts of thoughts.

Life is what you make of it. If you dwell on negative things, negative things will come to you. If you dwell on positive things and happiness, you will attract it to you. It’s your choice.
